I believe “Wise As A Serpent” is good advice for anyone in management or who is an entrepreneur. This particular book is written for those of Christian Faith, but I believe it has practical solutions for anyone who is in business or is a manager or who wants to own a business.
I have been a Business Consultant since 1990 and have had the privilege of seeing from the inside, how many regional and national entrepreneurs and managers operate. Being a business consultant has allowed me to see how things work from the boardroom to the backroom. Having owned many businesses myself, I learned early on that the intent of the boardroom seldom gets played out in the marketplace. The experiences and lifestyles in this book are based on many years of being in business myself. I have started many businesses from scratch, have seen them grow, and have sold some of them out for profit.
What most business people won’t confess is that I learned most of my wisdom from making mistakes and working through them. I know what it feels like to see a business grow beyond expectations. I also know what it feels like to see some of them fail.
I have read a lot of books written by national known authors and successful businesspeople and what I wonder when I finish many of them is, “how can I apply that to where I am in business?” What do you do when you are showing a profit on paper and choking on cash flow? How do you handle important personnel when you know they aren’t performing? I would always have questions and no one to answer them. Questions about my business and my situation.
I believe my book will answer several of your questions and my newsletters will be partially dedicated to answering questions you submit to me on my website.
When I hold speaking engagements, I always have a Q and A section at the end of them, where you can ask questions and get, what I believe to be, straight and honest answers, with no sugar-coating.
My belief system is this. If I can share many years as a business owner, a CEO of a national company or as a business consultant, then my effort is worthwhile. If I can’t, I should fold up and quit.
Finally, I ask for your questions on my website. Your name will be held in confidence, if you request it. Otherwise, I will choose ten questions from each month’s batch of questions and answer them in my newsletter, “Jack’s Facts.”
All you have to do is fill out the information form on jackbaileybusiness.com or purchase one of my books and in each case; you will find a place to ask your questions. I will do my best to answer you truthfully.
The book’s price is shown on the website with instructions to purchase here or at Amazon. com and we are currently offering free memberships to the newsletter “Jack’s Facts.”
